What are you doing for the next 10.7 years of your life?
I know, weird question, but I will get to why I asked that in a few.
To prove the unbelievable value that they offer at Wealthy Affiliate, I walked myself around the Internet looking to see what else is out there. Better yet, I sought out what you could get for $5000 within the Online Business World these days.
You will be surprised as to what I found...
Not only did I find one or two products out there that charged several $1000 for admittance, I found A LOT.
These programs varied in shape, size, and delivery, however at the core of all them they were "how to earn money from the Internet" training.
Actually, some of them didn't even offer training.
Here are my results, in no particular order. $5,000 these days can get you:
(1) An online shopping site. This does not include any advertising costs, support, or training on how to actually promote your site! Lame I say. What the heck are you going to do with this site once you have it. Pretend you know how to promote it? Price tag: $5500
(2) A mentoring package. Many (I mean many) of the guru's out there will try to upsell you on their training packages. These are usually delivered via phone support or email. The people you are connected to are also "trained support"...meaning they are teaching you from a manual, not from experience. Lame I say. Price tag: $5,000 - $10,000!
(3) A variety of training programs. Many of them are 100 page guides w/ a few CD's...delivered to your doorstep. This is a lot of money for a very little amount of content. These programs don't usually offer support, personal training, or access to a community. You buy, and then you are on your own! Price tag: $5,000.
(4) A Tool. OMG, I can't believe some people think they can get away with charging $5,000 for a piece of "online" software. Whether it is a keyword tool, content tools, or templated database site, there are an abundance of expensive tools out there. These range in price and again, it is a tool. It will not make you succeed, it will make you poor (from the high cost of it). Price tag: $2,000-$6000!
This is ridiculous...honestly. If you buy one of these after reading this, please send me an email so I can give you a piece of my mind. I'm kidding, but please save your money.
Why?
Because you get all of that, and then a whole bunch more for $39 when you join Wealthy Affiliate.
In fact, you could become a member at Wealthy Affiliate for 10.7 years for the same price as one of these products! If you can't make money within 10.7 years, let alone 1 year at Wealthy Affiliate, something is wrong.
