Entrecard Tip to Get More Drops

Do you use Entrecard? Are you looking to get more drops put of Entrecard? I know I am so I have been trying to figure out the best way to use Entrecard and gain Entrecard credits.

Guess what? I don't even really like Entrecard itself too much latelym (See this Entrecard article) but I am still after those stinking credits and I do get a lot of targeted traffic from Entrecard.

So I wanted to know how I could get more reciprocal drops from other Entrecard users. I thought about this for awhile and then it just dawned on me. You cannot get reciprocal drops from Entrecard users unless they themselves are active in the community. You know what I'm saying?

How many times have you searched for blogs to advertise on in Entrecard only to get to the blog itself and realize it hasn't been updated since last summer? I know that this happened to me so many times that I do not even search for blogs anymore. I just hit up all the active users in Entrecard that are directly around me.

And I'll tell you just how I do this. First off, I have the Entrecard Top Droppers Widget in my sidebar here. Read the article about how to install an Entrecard Top Droppers Widget for yourself here. So I start at the top of the list and click through to that blog. And I know for sure that this is an active user because they are obviously dropping because they are on my list. So I drop that ad spot and then click through on whatever ad they are displaying and drop there also and so on and so forth until I finally come to a blog with an ad that I've already clicked through to. And I know all of those users are active in the Entrecard community because they all have current advertisements.

Then I go to the 2nd Entrecard user in my widget and click through to them and drop and then click through on their ad and drop and do it all again until I see an ad that I've already clicked on.

I use this procedure every day now for my Top Droppers Widget and also my Drops Inbox at Entrecard. Now I know this seems like a lot of work but really it isn't! You will be surprised sometime at how fast you come across that ad display that you have already clicked through. And by dropping on all active users you have a much better chance of having them come back to your site and drop their Entrecard on you too!

Give it a try and see how it works for you. I easily quadrupled by Entrecard credits by doing this.
