I've Been on Vacation Again for 9 Days, but....I Have A Lot of New Articles Coming Up

Holy Smokes, I've been on vacation again for 9 days! I didn't really plan on being gone that long but since I make so much money online these days I figured I could afford it.

So where did I go? Well, I didn't go anywhere too spectacular, I took my family camping. But we did go camping in one of the most beautiful places ever! We went to the Mouth of the Huron River, located in Marquette County here in the beautiful Upper Peninsula of Michigan, USA.

I have a bunch pf pics that I want to post but I don't know where my girlfriend put the digital camera and she had to go back to work today. So hopefully I will be able to post the pictures here soon!

Anyway, while I was gone I was accepted into 3 new affiliate marketing programs which I am really excited about. Why am I excited? Well, it will give me 3 more streams of revenue in my arsenal and I can also review them for you and write articles on them so you too can make some good money online. After all this is what this site is here for!

So, I have to get busy right now but please stay tuned as I will be posting new articles and new online money makers for you to smash some cash!

Thank you all for being so patient. Hopefully I can teach you to make some killer money online so you too can go on the vacation that you deserve! Peace!

Here are the pictures from camping. Hope you enjoy!

Review of the Do-Follow Blog Directory, You Want to Join this One, Trust Me

"Do Follow" Blog Directory

So I wanted a list of some do-follow blogs so I typed do-follow list into Google and the first listing was the Do Follow Blog Directory. It looks brand new as it only has 300 or so blogs but it is at the top of Google.

Here is what they have to say for themselves:

Back in the day when blogs were first starting, nasty spammers used to abuse blog commenting, and spam the comments with their yuckky links, trying to promote all kinds of junky porny gambly sites.

To combat this, Google implemented the "no follow" tag. This tag was picked up by wordpress and impelemented for URLs in comments as standard in their scripts. What it means is that URLs in the comments field are ignored by google, and pagerank and indexing are not improved for the target sites, from these links. The expectation was that this would disuade spammers from commenting on blogs.

Did this work? Well, the over 8000 spam comments caught on just one of my blogs tells me that spammers do not seem much perterbed by the fact that my blog comments are "no followed".

What does work is the Askimet SPAM plugin.

Unfortunately, the "no follow" tag did have one unforeen consequence. Folks that would place legitimate comments on blogs were also disuaded from doing this because they didn't get any "link juice" from commenting, either.

There is now a "movement" (for want of a better word!) to remove the "no follow" tag from the comments to encourage others to leave comments on your blog. In wordpress, the "no follow" tag can be be turned off by the installation of a "no follow" plugin.

By advertising your blog as a "DO follow" blog, you are encouraging others to comment.

Check them out and add your blog.

Please leave a comment and tell us what you think about the do follow movement.

How You Can Avoid Being Ripped Off by Scammers and Spammers

Affiliate marketing can be a profitable and fun way to build your business. However, it is very important to be sure that you are choosing the right programs so you don't get scammed. There are a lot of good upstanding programs, but there are an equal number of companies that are outright scams and will never even pay you for your hard efforts. Worse still the company can suddenly close and still owe you your commission.

How to avoid these scams: The best way to avoid these scams is to do your research well. (Google everything) Check out these points before joining:

1. Does the company have good support? Do they answer emails and have valid contact information?

2. Do they have a valid offline address?

3. What % of commission do they pay; 30%-50% is the best.

4. Tracking system - this should be in real time and accurate.

5. Products, should be well targeted for your market and of good quality

Where to research:

1. Forums, related to your industry. There are many savvy people who use the forums and you may be sure they will tell it like it is. There are few programs out there that at least somebody has heard of and can give educated advice on.

2. Discussion lists

3. Look into the program carefully yourself.

4. Put the company name, plus the word scam, into the search engines and see what comes up. Use your own judgment, as sometimes these reviews may not be 100% unbiased.

The golden rule to avoid being scammed is to look before you join, and do not be afraid to ask other people’s opinions. If it looks too good to be true it very likely is, so do not get involved with a company that needs to hype up its opportunity or program. When you are alert and use caution before rushing into something you will be able to choose good reliable programs that will help you in reaping profits for a long time to come.

Six Super Important SEO Tips that Everyone Webmaster Needs to Know

Search engine optimization is important because it improves the volume and quality of traffic to a web site from search engines. Do you want to put your website in the high ranking? Here is the golden rule: Website Optimization = Content + Links = High Ranking! So here are 6 SEO tips that you need to follow.

1. How Google Measures Link Popularity

Higher link popularity scores = Higher search engine ranking

Link popularity is by far the most important factor for determining your search engine ranking. You need to know what link popularity is, why it is so important, and how Google measures your link popularity (over 50% of all search engine traffic comes from Google, and if you can get to the top of Google, you will raise to the top of the others search engines as well).

Link popularity - the number of links (votes) that SE have for your site.

Here is a link for a good tool that measures the link popularity from SE’s. It shows you the link popularity from Google Yahoo and MSN and lets you to see the history report so you to figure out the rise of your site.

2. Articles:

Consistency is the key. It is a fact that as more and more articles are added to article directories, your article will go lower in the listings, but if you constantly and consistently submit new articles, then you will continue to reap the benefits. Making articles is a great way to build up the link popularity of your website. It gives you life-time links.

• Always close your articles off with a link to your site which is relevant to the copy of the article. Hyperlink the keyword with your url. For example:

Author Bio: Quote: “Johnny Brown is an expert in affiliate marketing. Visit his site for more online marketing tips.”

3. Control Your Words.

“Not everything that counts can be counted and not everything that can be counted counts”.

This does not apply to our situation. In the Meta Tags, you must count every word and every keyword. Use a tool like this one to count the characters from your Meta tags.”

Meta Tag Counter

4. Optimize the Title Tag

• Include 1-2 of your most important keyword phrases in the title tag, but don't just list keywords.

If you just list keywords, you risk being viewed as spamming the search engines which can ultimately lead to you being blacklisted and not included at all.

• Your title tag should include your keyword phrases within a readable sentence to avoid this problem.

• Make your title appealing to humans!

Don't forget that even if you get that top listing in the search engines, our listing still needs to say something that makes the surfer want to click your link and visit your site.

• Since the length of your title tag could cause some engines to crop it, we suggest place the keywords at the beginning of the tag when possible to decrease the risk of having them cut off.

Each page of your site should have its own title tag with its own keywords that relate to the page that it appears on.

5. Optimize the Meta Description Tag

• Give appropriate descriptions (as some search engines display this description in the search result), make it more appropriate to your site. Put only targeted keywords in description. Do not stuff the description with more keywords. Restrict the number of words in this tag to 10 to 15 words.

• Place the most important phrases at the start of the description, so, even if any search engine omits some part of the description, the important phrases will be displayed.

6. Optimize the Meta Keywords Tag

The importance of Meta Tags is debated these days. So this is an optional extra.

• Include only the keywords that appear in the body text, and no more than 5-7 keywords. Add alternate spelling of words (including typos) and synonyms of those keywords.

So everyone needs to make sure that your website is up to par with these SEO tips I just listed.

You Don't Have to Write ALL of Your Killer Web Content Yourself You Know!

The simplest way to make money online working only a few short hours a week is to build a web site packed with awesome content. You need so much content that once you've had a web surfer land on your web site, they will have to come back for more again and again. Content rules supreme on the new Internet!

So where do you find a lot of content for very little money? Well, you actually have quite a few options here. There are many article directories and many web site owners that will actually let you use their content as long as you keep the resource box intact. If you are new and you have just joined your first web master affiliate program, that's the best way to go about it.

Free Article Resources

Free resources are easy to find and will really help you kick-start your business and earn money faster than you otherwise would if you were to write everything by yourself. Of course you will have to write quite a bit of original content because the more original content you have the better your web site will be rated by search engines.

PLC Articles

Another way to add new content is by using Private Label Content articles or PLC. PLC generally refers to articles, ebooks and manuals that are free for subscribers to use as they wish. There are a few restrictions, however: you cannot claim copyright to PLC, or submit it to article sites, unless you change the content significantly. Unlike free articles directories, you will have to pay a subscription fee and that sucks unless you are making some good money online.

But PLC has the very important advantage that you don't have to add a resource box, which always points to some other web site that can steal your prospective customers. You will probably get 10 to 40 new articles a month, depending on the market niche you are interested in. And these articles can really get you going and make some money with the Internet marketing affiliate program you've joined.

How can you use them to make the most of them? If you have a hard time building mailing lists for your marketing campaigns then you can try to see if they would be more attracted to sign up for a 6 month long weekly course, which can be entirely comprised of PLC articles.

And one last thing for you to thrive on the Internet marketing arena, don't use web site templates! I know free stuff is great and easy to find on the internet and I know there are tens of thousands of different web site templates out there, but they will not help you advance your business. You need to think out of the box, you need to be creative and you need to differ from any other web site your customers may see while searching for what they want to buy.

So do yourself a favor and rather than downloading a web site template, try to learn a bit about how to build a web site yourself. It will help you a lot in the long run and will give you all the flexibility you need for a successful business.

I am constantly changing the layout of my website on a near daily basis. I wouldn't even consider using templates for websites.

What do yyou think about article directories and plc articles? Please leave a comment!

4 Common Affiliate Marketing Mistakes

Affiliate marketing looks easy to do, but in reality it is a little trickier than people realize. One of the main reasons for failure to make profits in affiliate marketing is lack of dedication and work ethic. Affiliate marketing is just like any other business. It takes a lot of hard work and dedication to make a successful business. Every single day you must hit the information super highway and travel back and forth working your butt off. It's very easy to become discouraged but you must keep working.

- One of the most common reasons for failure is lack of knowledge about promoting. Affiliate marketing depends on getting a ton of targeted traffic to your website. Only then can you hope to achieve a substantial click through and sales conversion. Many new affiliates are not aware of the amount of work they will have to put in to drive this traffic to their websites. I have reviewed many different ways to receive targeted traffic, make sure you read them all and also try to find your own! Never stop trying to drive traffic to your website!

- The other mistake is not to have your own website. This prevents you from doing your own website promotions and does not allow you to capture the email addresses of your visitors. When you do this you will only be building your sponsor’s business and not your own. You will also be decreasing your sales conversions. It is imperative that you create e-mail lists through opt in strategies! Here you can read more in-depth information on e-mail marketing.

- Not knowing how to advertise and where you should be doing your direct marketing is also another mistake. Advertising must be towards your targeted market and not in unrelated publications and websites.

You can either pay for your advertising or try to do it for free. If you are just starting out in the affiliate marketing business then i would suggest using free strategies. I have several reviews of free advertising here. Also you can advertise on this site for free!

- Selling, not pre selling: Too many affiliates try to sell their sponsor’s products instead of getting the click through. If you try to sell to your visitors and then send them through to your sponsor’s sales page they are in effect being double sold and will not be very inclined to buy. Let your sponsor do the majority of the actual selling.

If you pre sell to your visitors and warm them for the sale they will be ready for your sponsor’s sales page and be inclined to buy. This will increase sales conversions and your commission. I advise doing some serious pre-selling but you must understand that selling and pre-selling are not the same at all. You must be careful when pre-selling.

So those are thee 4 most common mistakes that I see affiliate marketers make the most.

What common mistakes do you see the most? Please leave a comment!

Take Your Online Business Just as Serious As You Would Your Real Business

Maybe the single greatest part of affiliate marketing is that is can make you as much money as a real offline business that sells a product or service without all the hassle that comes with inventory, shipping and returns. But that profit only comes with proper planning and care.

Let’s take a look at a few things you need to do to make sure that your affiliate marketing venture is worthwhile and done the right way.

Do your research first. If you were considering starting a business in the real world, you wouldn’t just go rent out a piece of property, get the permits and open your business the next week. You would learn everything there is to know about the business you chose and you would try to make your business as successful as possible.

While you may not need the same level of dedication with your affiliate marketing site, you should have a good idea of what you want your site to sell, what product you want to sell and where you are going to get your content from before you start.

Are you a good enough content writer to have 15 different programs on your site, or do you only have strong feelings for two or three products and you want to stick to them? You need to give your affiliate marketing program a real chance to work so once you pick a style and theme, stick to it for a while to see if it makes you money or not.

You don’t have to be an expert web designer or web content writer to make money off of your affiliate marketing site, but it sure helps. Luckily, there are a slew of fantastic low-cost programs out there that can walk you through web site creation step by step so that even if you don’t know HTML from Java, you can have a great looking website. I personally use blogger and Wordpress for all my free webistes.

The same goes for web content. Your content needs to be informative, fun and interesting AND it needs to sell your product all at the same time. It sounds complicated but it really isn’t. You can head to your local library or bookstore to find books on how to write web content or you can simply read other affiliate marketing sites to get some pointers. If shoppers aren’t captivated by your site, they won’t use it. Plain and simple.

While it can be tempting to just throw up a quick, basic website with little to no content so you can start making money right away, the experienced affiliate marketer knows better. Take the time and do it right and you’ll see the results in your bank account.

If You Want to Make Money Online then You Have to Create Multiple Streams of Income

One of the great things about affiliate marketing is the idea that you can subscribe to as many different affiliate programs as you can manage, all at the same time. We’ve talked in depth in previous articles about how important it is to have some focus on your website so that you can appeal to customers instead of appearing like a hodgepodge of links. It’s a fine line to walk between having multiple streams of income and having too many programs. Let’s take a look at the right way to handle this problem.

Make sure your streams relate to each other. This is a tip worth a thousand bucks, alone. Think about it for a moment. Yes, you want to have more than one program on your website at once, but you don’t want 10 or 15 because it’s too much to manage.

So, what’s the best way to go? Have 4-5 and make them all related to each other! Say your first program is through a company that sells pet supplies. You’ve written some stellar content on pets sine it’s a passion of yours, but you want more than one stream of income. How about a program through a gourmet pet food distributor? You can SHARE CONTENT then, since you already have great content written about pets to begin with.

Want more? Find a company that sells pet treats from around the world. Or maybe one that specializes in pet medications through the mail. The choices are endless and by relating all of your companies, you won’t have to write separate content for each program. You’ll save time and make money!

Let’s say you find an affiliate marketing program that you just have to add to your site, but it’s about a topic you don’t know much about. Don’t worry! You can still write interesting and informative content, even if it’s about a product you’re not an expert on.

Try a list. Just flip through the TV listings this week and take a look at all the list shows on right now. People love lists. You can make a quickie top-10 list style article and relate it to your new affiliate program. This will allow you to diversify your business and add extra streams of income at the same time. You don’t want your site to be entirely lists, but one out of three or four articles is fine and it makes your site appear more fun!

Creating multiple steams of income is pretty easy when you look at it. Group your products under the same umbrella to save time or add a program that you can make funny and informative lists on. Your site will benefit and you’ll have happy customers to boot!

Make money Online With Absolutely No Investment....Ever!

Want to know what? The single greatest part about affiliate marketing and making money online is the incredibly low initial investment you need to start earning money online for yourself.

Personally the only part of my money making empire that I actually pay for are my dot coms and I get them through Google for 10 smacks a year and I can re-up at any time for as long as I want at that price. All you really need is a website. That’s it!

There are so many FREE programs out there that will walk you though the basics of building a website or blog, even if you know nothing about it, you can be up and running in the span of a day. I use Blogger and Wordpress to build all of my free websites. And after you build your site, all that’s left at that point is finding an affiliate marketing program to subscribe to.

There are tens of thousands of affiliate marketing programs you can subscribe to. The list is essentially limitless. An important piece of advice, though, is that if an affiliate marketing program wants you to pay money to sign up, you might want to think twice. Unless the initial investment is very small, there are many other choices that you could make. You see, almost all affiliate marketing programs are FREE! That’s right, you read that right. FREE!

Here are the ones I use for free:

- Pay per Play Ads from Net Audio Ads

I have written three review articles on Net Audio Ads so far. Pay per Play Ad Review, Pay per Play Ad Review Update I, and Update II. Read them all to find out what Net Audio Ads/Pay per play is all about.

- COPEAC - Make Money!

Here is my review of the Copeac Affiliate Program. I by far prefer Copeac above everyone else!

-
Earn $$ with WidgetBucks

Here is my review of WidgetBucks! Read all about them and find out if they are right for you.

- Deal dot Com

Here is my review of Deal dot Com! i really like the ideas behind this program.

And not only that, but some of the big time programs will even train you and give you tips on the right keywords to put on your webpage so random web surfers will find you, click on your link, buy a product and earn you money! Unless you really want to be part of an affiliate marketing program that charges money, don’t do it. There are thousands that are free. There are 2 affiliate programs that I use that have numerous resources for beginners. They are:

- MoreNiche Affiliates

You can read my review of MoreNiche here! Moreniche is awesome! They have tons and tons of free resources available for you to use. You defineitely to join this one!

- LinkWorth

LinkWorth also has a ton of free resources for you to use and they offer numerous ways to monetize a website or blog!

So...if you are interested in joining any of these programs, join under my affiliate link and I will personally help you to make some money online!

The key fact here is that you can earn money online with no money involved. Just make a website, write some snappy content and set up your links and then sit back, relax and count your money.

Please leave a comment and tell me what you think about these programs. Or, after you have signed up for them, please come back and tell me so I can help you make some money. Also you can leave your own mini review here!

Thanks!

Recently, I have begun to make some serious money online. And I love it. So my girlfriend and I decided to take a little break from making all this money online and go enjoy ourselves with nature!

We went to a resort called Lac Labelle Lodge, on the Keweenaw Peninsula, in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. We did a lot of fishing, relaxing, and drinking and eating! We had some serious fun and relaxation.

Great News! Net Audio Ads has Released their Independent Network Audit

Great news everyone! Net Audio Ads/Pay per Play has finished their network audit. This means that they are coming out of Beta and ready to make some big money. I have been a member of Net Audio Ads/Pay per Play for a few months now. (I teamed up with them before their official release.

Don't know what Net Audio ads/Pay per Play ads are? You can read my first review of Pay per Play ads here. I started with Pay per Play back in April. Everything went fine and I started making money right off the bat. I posted an update on Pay per Play also in May.

Now I have received another e-mail from them announcing that their independent audit reports are done for their entire Network and they are finally ready to move out of Beta.

Here is what they had to say today:

"No crowd ever waited at the gates of patience, however patience is rewarded.

An old cliché? Perhaps, but never more ingenuous than with the NetAudioAds growing network and soon to be published BPA report.

We at Voice2Page NetAudioAds are truly grateful you’ve joined us for what is sure to be an exciting and rewarding ride. Our mission is to big–alter the way the Internet world and its advertisers talk to their customers. That’s a mission worthy of a little more patience. I know it’s tough to be patient when an opportunity like this is right in front of us. And I also know that we need to thank people/publishers like you for your current patience. Thank You!

You are one of those people talented enough to understand the mission and be part of a network worthy of a noted paradigm shift in Internet advertising. A new way for advertisers to speak through audio adlets direct to customers. A way to speak through your site, earning you money, every time someone visits. You are special and your patience is appreciated.

Good News! The audited numbers are even greater than original estimates. BPA has never audited a medium producing this much data and because the data collected has been so significant the time BPA planned to convert it into meaningful reports has taken weeks longer. Savvy media buyers require a trusted audit. Agency media buyers have never been more focused on having trusted, independent verification insuring their clients are getting what they are paying for. The ability to show our audio network circulation has passed BPA’s rigorous standards puts all of us shoulder-to-shoulder with the best in the business with any advertising prospect large or small. Again patience rewarded! The audit should influence more important, national advertisers to use our audio network sooner, resulting in more rewards/revenues to you.

Even better news! Our network is growing exponentially by the week. With the BPA complete and the growing network we expect to attract many name brand advertisers within the next few months.

The BPA final report will be forth coming and when completed Voice2Page is prepared to launch an international PR campaign to let the Internet world know the network you are a part of, is ready. Simultaneously we will be introducing a new Voice2Page NetAudioAds web presence where it will be easier for advertisers to sign up and make use of this innovative audio network."

All good news! I can't wait to start making more money with Net Audio Ads. So if you haven't signed up with them yet, you had better do so today! Sign up with Net Audio Ads/Pay per Play here!
Watch a video on Pay per Play ads here!

Please leave some comments and tell me what you think about Net Audio Ads/Pay per Play!

HTML Editor for Everyone to Use Free

So anyways, I have been wanting to add a HTML Editor to this site. Personally I still struggle writing and using HTML, and there is nothing wrong with that. Heck, with the Blogger software I barely have to use HTML, but I still do because there are some limitations to Blogger.

With this HTML Editor you can write whatever you like. Make it bold, or italic, or justify it, even change the color. Then click the <> button and get the HTML for it.
Post it to your blog, website, MySpace or whatever!

I hope somebody finds this useful. And if you do like this HTML Editor, you can bookmark this page with your favorites and easily come back here to Great Ways to Make Money Online and use it whenever you need.

Please leave a comment and ttell me what you think about this editor or HTML in general. Remeber - You Comment, I follow!

Some Tips and Tricks to Building Better Websites

Whether you're just entering the website development field and want to get started on your first, full-blown website or you're an amateur just trying to put together your personal website, it can be a daunting task when you see all of the jargon and options available. Don't worry, most aspects of website development are actually pretty straight-forward. The confusion is usually in the terminology and the complicated-sounding technologies you'll be using.

Almost all of website development is about understanding Hypertext Markup Language (HTML) and the design elements of making a functional website. When you see a good site on the Web, you usually don't notice the design elements very much. That's what makes the sites so good. It's when those elements, like navigation, graphics, and the information on the page, get in the way or distract the user, that you notice them. This means the site's designer, or website developer, did not do his or her job correctly.

If you're an amateur building a website for fun or family, then this may not be as important to you. Most likely, you're using an online site builder or free website tool. The professional, however, should be very concerned about these design elements. The only way to know if your elements are correct is practice, revision, and criticism. Look around the 'Net at sites that you admire and focus on these elements to see how they accomplished what they did. Find similar sites and check them and look at sites that don't come up to standards and note their mistakes. Learn from other people's website development efforts in order to better your own.

Now comes the fun part: experimentation! The best way to learn on your own is to try things. Don't be afraid to fail, since it's your mistake and no one's going to fault you but you. Learn from it and try again. Play around with different concepts of navigation and design, fill pages with useless gibberish or random content so you can see what handling large amounts of written material is like. Make drop-down, hover-changing, and other kinds of menus to see how the buttons interact and the scripting holds up to expansion and changes. Above all, though, experiment with your website development!

Once you're confident with your skills, start building your first site—probably your own professional site to sell yourself. The successes during your experimentation are now your portfolio. Good work! Keep working, trying, and succeeding by learning from your failures. Website development is about practice and knowledge. Don't let your lack of experience hold you back, but instead utilize your unbounded imagination. Keep trying!

Now that you're ready to do something for real, you'll need to know some basic concepts about website development to keep your sites well-grounded. You'll need to know: what the focus of the site-to-be is, what kind of content will be included with, how much content is expected, how often feedback from the client will be given, and what kind of hosting will the site be on when completed (often the same as during development). There may be other questions, but these are the most basic.

The focus of the site is merely what the site is for: is it a sales site, online store, or glorified brochure. In other words, what's the point of the thing? You'll need to have at least a rough idea of what kind of content will be used on the site and how much of it (text, graphics, audio/video, etc.) there will be. Some clients are very open to letting you run with their website's development and come up with your own, while others want to control the process from start-to-finish and have a clear idea of what they want. This covers the question about client feedback. Most sites are built in stages, with a “skeleton” going up first to solidify the major design elements and the details and content going in next, page-by-page or section-by-section. The question of site hosting is very important if the site is to be anything more than just a cut-and-dried brochure or text-only site—a site that doesn\'t use much or any audio/visual or back-end scripting like shopping carts.

Now the fun begins! Building the site needs to be somewhat organized, but if you're given some leeway, take advantage of it and have fun with the concept. Start with organizing the content and creating a game plan for how the site will “flow” or be laid out for the user, from index page to final purchase or final goal. Use this game plan to start building the backbone of your site: its navigation. Square this away first, before you do anything else on the site. The navigation is so integral to the design, website development, and even file structure of the site on the server that it must be the first thing completed and ready to go. Changes to the navigation, once implemented, will probably be difficult and will affect everything else about the site.

Once that's done, it's a matter of taste and style. Once you've got a feel for your client and their business (and therefore their clientčle), you can come up with a graphical design based around your navigation scheme to make the site great. After that, it's mostly just “plug-n-play” with content. Most sites are built on a basic template, which contains the major graphic elements and the navigation. This is because continuity throughout the site is visually appealing and less confusing to the visitor.

That's the basics of website development, in just a page or two. There is more to it, of course, but you\'ll learn most of it as you go. Once you\'ve got the foundation I've outlined here, you\'re ready to learn the rest by experimentation. Besides, that's more fun than reading some boring article anyway. So have at it!

Want to Try Out the Linkback Project With Me?

***UPDATE SEPTEMBER 8th 2008***
I NO LONGER USE THE LINKBACK PROJECT OR ANY OTHER SERVICE ASSOCCIATED WITH THE LINKBACK PROJECT - here is why I refuse to deal with the LinkBack Project or anything else that has to do with the LinkBack Project website. - BE VERY WARY

So today I came across this one fella's new linking and social bookmarking experiment called the Linkback Project. Here is what the Linkback Project has to say about itself:

"This is a simple procedure. You might have seen it done elsewhere on a few scarce weblogs. What is different, is that when we reach a certain point on the list, we start yet another one. Instead of one master list and its done, we will repeat the process over and over again, with new folks jumping on board. These backlinks combined with the social networking friends status will affect all areas of search engine algorithims."

Sounds alright to me! So What do you do to make it work? Simple:

- Copy The Post & List below into a blog post of yours.
— Add Your Link to the list at the bottom.
— Comment On the original post at LBP so that I can update the list with your link.
— Make sure the list links and names are in place on your weblog post.
— Digg, Stumble, Tag, and Reddit all of us, spread the word, get more on board.
— Be sure to send them back to The Linkback Project for the updated list.

Trust Me...You Need Search Engine Traffic!

Search engine traffic will bring you some of your most valuable visitors. They have found your website when they were searching for a product or information. This makes them warm, ready to buy visitors who are very likely to not only click through to your sponsor’s sales page but actually buy the product. There are 3 major search engines; number one Google, second Yahoo and third MSN.

So how do you get your website listed, or indexed, with these search engines? The answer is “keywords.” These are words found in your website that will attract your targeted market to your website when they are found in the search engines. Keyword research is very important. You will need to find keywords that are high in demand, many searches, and low in supply, less websites.

You can do this by going to http://goodkeywords.com and finding the keywords for your site. Then you can go to a program like http://wordtracker.com and find more specialized keywords. You can also use http://digitalpoint.com to help you find the niche keywords.

Check out your competition: The 1st ten websites listed in the search engine, will be your competition and you should check out the links they have going to their site. If possible try to get these to your site also. This will help you to get a better position in the search engines. The most important way of linking is back links. You can get these by article distribution, to all the article directories. This will especially increase your page rank with Google and get you a higher position in their engine.

Google will give special preference to your content and resources for your visitors. Make sure you optimize your content at about 3% for Google and up to 5% for MSN and Yahoo. Also use anchor links to link your pages and for external links, these will utilize your main keywords and the search engine bots will easily follow them to get around your site and view every page for indexing.

Keep your site ever fresh by adding new content every week. This will allow the search engines and especially Google to index new pages and increase your Page Rank. These are just a few points to help you to keep a good position in the search engines.

Do You Use E-mail Marketing Campaigns? If Not, You Had Better Get Started

Email marketing is widely used by companies because it is less expensive and promotes products easily whether it’s your sponsor's products and services or your own. It is considered powerful and effective way of marketing.

Your email marketing will begin with your opt-in list by offering a free newsletter about your industry to your website visitors. To gather names and email addresses of your subscribers, place a subscription box on your website. You can also be extra careful and make this a double opt-in where the subscriber must confirm their subscription before they join your list.

Once you have built a good sized list, you can place small ads for your product in your newsletter and can even start an announcement list for those who are looking for new products, tools and opportunities.

Forms of Email Marketing:

• Newsletter (Free) - will have a couple of ads, as mentioned above.

• Information Please Mailer - can help you close many sales. You have a link on your website, or in your publication, for readers to click on if they need more information. The mailer will be a sequence of emails that give more information about the product and a call to action at the end. These are very effective in closing sales and getting the click through to your sponsor's site.

• Special Announcements – to be sent to your entire list which may contain new products and services that will meet the needs of your visitors?

2 Tools You Need:

• An Auto Responder
• Email Signature File

Can Spam Act: It is very significant to follow Can Spam Act when sending email. Always provide your name, company name and physical address at the bottom of your email. It is very important to provide an opt-out or unsubscribe link at the end of your email.

Spam Filters: Always Spam check your email messages before you send them out. Spam filters avoid spam emails to get into the visitors’ inbox.

Email marketing is instant and easy to track. In addition, emails arrive in a few seconds or minutes and over half of Internet users check or send email everyday, which makes email marketing very effective.

So, if your not using an e-mail marketing campaign...You had better get started now!

I've Been Making Too Much Money Around this Place and Need a Laugh

I don't know about you, but I've been making soo much money around this place that I need a laugh! Have you ever heard the one about Chuck Norris...

THE TOP TEN CHUCK NORRIS FACTS:

01 Chuck Norris' tears cure cancer. Too bad he has never cried.

02 Chuck Norris counted to infinity - twice.

03 Chuck Norris does not hunt because the word hunting infers the probability of failure. Chuck Norris goes killing.

04 If you can see Chuck Norris, he can see you. If you can't see Chuck Norris you may be only seconds away from death.

05 Chuck Norris sold his soul to the devil for his rugged good looks and unparalleled martial arts ability. Shortly after the transaction was finalized, Chuck roundhouse kicked the devil in the face and took his soul back. The devil, who appreciates irony, couldn't stay mad and admitted he should have seen it coming. They now play poker every second Wednesday of the month.

06 When the Boogeyman goes to sleep every night he checks his closet for Chuck Norris.

07 Chuck Norris built a time machine and went back in time to stop the JFK assassination. As Oswald shot, Chuck Norris met all three bullets with his beard, deflecting them. JFK's head exploded out of sheer amazement.
08 Chuck Norris has already been to Mars; that's why there are no signs of life there.

09 They once made a Chuck Norris toilet paper, but it wouldn't take shit from anybody.

10 A blind man once stepped on Chuck Norris' shoe. Chuck replied, "Don't you know who I am? I'm Chuck Norris!" The mere mention of his name cured this man blindness. Sadly the first, last, and only thing this man ever saw, was a fatal roundhouse delivered by Chuck Norris.

LOL. I think these are hilarious. Maybe only because I grew up watching "Walker Texas Ranger" all the time.

Anyways, I didn't creat these or anything like that. In fact I staright up stole them from The Chuck Norris Facts.com, this place has a hundred more that are also freaking hilarious. Please be sure to check them out.

If you're the dude from The Chuck Norris Facts.com, and you object to this article, please let me know and I will take it down immediately. Thanks!

Enjoy!
