So I would like to start these how-to articles with a little tip for everyone using Blogger so that they can make their blogs do-follow instead of the automatic Blogger setting of no-follow. I recommend doing this on all your websites because it encourages people to leave comments. And these days, many visitors to your blog won't leave comments unless they know you blog is set to do-follow.
Changing your blogger template to do-follow is really quite simple and should only take you a few seconds for each of your blogs. Here is how.
Go to the Layout Tab in Blogger and click Edit HTML. From there, click the box marked Expand Widget Templates. Now hold the buttons Ctrl and F, a small Find Box will appear in your window. Type in nofollow and and click Next. The template will automatically find the no-follow text in your template. All you have to do is delete the portion that looks like this rel='nofollow'. Now hit next again and delete that same portion again and your done.
It's that simple.
Now you also need to tell people that your blog is set to do-follow. This is the most important step of all. Most visitors will not know if you don't tell them. Here are just a few of the many do-follow banners I use on my websites. Feel free to use them on yours'.

Please leave a comment and tell me what you think! Was that easy or what?

While i understand the benefits for the commenters, i dont really understand why it is good to have Do-Follow on your blog.
Chili Peppers, the reason it is important to have your blog set to do-follow, is that search engines like Google weigh the links pointing to your website an add them to their equation for ranking you in their listings. So, by leaving a comment here on Great Ways to Make Money Online which is set to do-follow, you now have a backlink pointing to your RHCP website. Good question though!
I would like to ask an addition question. Will enabling do-follow links harm the page rank of your blog?
BIC - No, having your blog set to do-follow will not harm your PR. Good question.
Thanks for the info, ebcak. I had no idea my blog was "no follow" and I just fixed it using your advice.
You rock! :D
Fitness Diva, I'm glad I could help you. I am not ebcak though, I am martinact420!
