The Only Free Web Directories You Should Be Using!

In this post I would like to discuss free directory listings. How would free directory listings help you and your website you ask? Well, simply put...Free Traffic!

Everyone needs traffic to their website. I happen to find that this is one of my biggest obstacles to overcome. Adding your site to as many free directories as possible will help you drive traffic to your site and it will be quality traffic because someone clicked your link for a reason. Most likely because they are looking for the informaton you have to offer and you can sell them on the point with your site description.

When I list my websites in free directories, I know that I am trying to sell my site to a total stranger with one sentence. Thats it, no more, no less. So be creative! Do not use the same site description over and over. I never do. Try anything and everything you can think of to get people to come to your website.

Here is a list of free directories that I have found and that I use. I will not list anything here that I dont use myself. I will continually update this list and hopefully it will soon be huge!

FunZ - I have most of my sites listed here. I don't know of this place is brand new or what but it sure is easy to get a reciprocal link from them! Check it out and get listed. (You need to go to the bottom of the page and look for where it says link exchange)

Free Link Exchange - Submit your link to the automatic link exchange for free!

Turn Pike Emporium - This directory to totally free, has a PR 6, and does not require a reciprocal!

Adgridwork Web Directory - Free Annual Credit Report - Free Web Directory that requires a reciprocal.

SubmitSiteNow.info - Free Directory that requires a reciprocal link.

PowerDirectory - Another free web directory you can submit to, requires a reciprocal.

Resho Directory - Free listing with reciprocal, has a pr of 1.
